Description

Students will learn how to use a Global Positioning System to find hidden "geocaches" (treasures) around Kalamazoo County. DeLorme's Earthmate GPS LT-20 will be used to turn laptops into GPS Navigators which will allow students to track longitudinal and latitudinal readings from receivers as the information is bounced off a satellite. Students also will be able to use the Magellan Global Positioning System.
