Description:

KAMSC Geology is a qualitative overview of mineralogy, petrology, gemology, volcanic and hydro-geologic processes, landform development, and plate tectonics. Major emphasis will be placed on the methods of problem-solving and applications utilizing extensive observational, laboratory, and especially field work. All students will be required to complete an extensive research paper covering a selected topic in geology. Resource persons from the community will be involved in presenting areas of geology to students.
