Description:

This class provides students a year of acquiring computer related skills that can be used for current and future problem solving applications in the sciences and mathematics. Topics include: data base management (retrieval, query, and configuration), integrated software, telecommunications, computer graphics, Web Design, Introduction to JAVA, Ethical Behaviors. A software development segment is included (a unit of structured programming experience with emphasis on design, structure, and algorithm development). Students complete a research project and/or a formal career study.
